Animal Aromatherapy

As a devoted pet owner, my dogs are an important part of my family and as such, I want to provide them with the same level of natural health and well-being as possible. Essential oils can be used for separation anxiety, travel sickness and many other common issues. I have used essential oils and hydrosols with my pets to help them navigate safely and effectively through a variety of conditions. I have been trained in the safety of using Aromatherapy with cats, dogs and horses. Look for my own Paw Butter formulation to keep your pets’ paws from weather conditions that create dry, cracked skin. Check out the other safe animal products under Pet Products.

Hydrosols are fabulous and safe to use with pets.  Hydrosols are the water by-product during the distillation of essential oils.

Besides recommending some hydrosols for safe use with animals, I have created a wonderful “Paw butter” that I designed to use on the paws and pads of my two kid’s feet.  Here in Tucson, the pavement gets extremely hot in the summer. There are other places where it is quite cold.  Dog’s feet can get dry and cracked.  The paw butter recipe contains only four ingredients and is all natural and organic, so even if they do lick at their feet, it is completely safe and non-toxic.
